Small steps

So I am trying not to take anything for granted. My weight loss and fitness plans are going slower than I want, but then I think about it and it took more than 15 years for me to get to the state I am in now, so why should it take less than a year for me to get to a better state?
I am not going to get discouraged at the slow rate everything is taking and give up. I am a mom, and soon to be a working mom. I don't have 8 hours a day to devote to keeping myself in shape, designing meal plans, tracking my calories and working out. So what I AM doing is important, and it WILL make a difference. My 1 hour walk yesterday will add to the 1 hour walk I did the day before and so on. It is better than the 1 hour of Bejeweled Blitz I used to play on Facebook (and still do late at night) :)
