Day one of exercise - Check!

So I managed to get in my 15 minutes of my slow re-introduction on the elliptical trainer. There is a "recovery" mode that measures how well your heart rate recovers. F6 is the worst, F1 is the best. I was an F6 :(

I also went for a 40 minute walk this afternoon with the baby in his stroller. We were out for more than an hour, but I don't count the time I spent in the library or the grocery store. I probably COULD count it towards my official Exercise because I was pushing the stroller through slushy snow and running through puddles so I wouldn't get too wet, but I don't want to because I want to have an overall healthy lifestyle, and figure if I do bonus walks with the baby, that is all part of my new healthy lifestyle. It shouldn't be something I HAVE to do.

I am glad I decided to concentrate on exercise this week, because if I tried to work on my diet at the same time, I would have felt defeated by the end of the day and decided not to exercise. Let's just say a small bag of Lindt milk chocolate eggs and 8 or 9 fruit Creme cookies played a big role. I WILL work hard to stop eating as much, but I can only tackle one bad habit at a time, especially with a teething baby hanging around :)
