I lost another 1.4 lbs last week, which brings my grand total lost to 15.3 lbs! It is coming off a lot slower than I like, mostly due to illness and pity parties from being sick.
The good news is that those 15 lbs are what I gained in the last two (very stressful) years, so now I am back to the weight I was when I started back at work. I was getting a little disheartened at my lack of progress, but knowing I have lost those 15 lbs somehow makes me feel better. I actually DID lose a significant amount of weight, even if it's not as much as I had hoped.
I saw a new Ear, Nose Throat specialist on Tuesday this week, and she seems really nice. Unfortunately I was all stuffed up and developing a sinus infection (again) so she put me on antibiotics and Prednisone for 2 weeks, hopefully this will calm my symptoms down and I can have another good streak of sinus headache free months like I did in March/April/May. I am hoping this will give me the energy I need to get back at exercising. I was doing SO Well before I got sick this time around. I had been very active on my vacation and was even contemplating starting a slow running routine (but not too much, I still weigh too much). I started doing Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred, and then I got sick. It's been almost two weeks since I did any major exercise. I got in 20 minutes on the elliptical on Monday, but then my sinus migraine came back and stopped me from doing anything else.
So, here's to a better week next week once my meds kick in :)
