Baby Steps

I finally got my butt in gear and took my dog for a 40 minute walk this morning. It was cool and windy, and I was really looking for an excuse not to do it, but I didn't really have one. I feel good now that I have done it. My goal today (and most days this week) is to try to get in at least 60 minutes of exercise each day. I only have 20 more to go for today!

I am feeling better about things today, and feel ready tackle things head on. I am still not sure I can beat the emotional eating thing in one fell swoop, but all I can do is keep my mind open to what I am doing, and really think about why I want to eat BEFORE I start eating.
