Okay, so it's been a while since I posted. Being a working mom, commuting 2 hours each day and trying to fit in enough sleep during the week has been challenging enough without the added challenge of eating right and exercising. I am starting to feel a little less stressed out now - I am settled in to my new position at work, come to terms with my commute, and have figured out bedtime (as long as baby doesn't wake up screaming too many times a week).
Of course, since I am out of shape, I am more susceptible to colds and such. Son on Tuesday night I decided I was damn well ready to start exercising again, and did about 15 minutes of living room exercises (running on the spot, arm raises, little squats). The next day I came down with a doozy of a cold :( So on Monday (the day I have decided my cold be gone) I will start back at it. I am also going to start eating my meals on smaller plates again, and I have been trying to do the not eating after 8 pm rule as well.
